Llanberis
A lovely mulberry gift from my niece,
ancailindeasrua,
who took her Archaeology degree in Wales.
Until I adopted Llanberis (my name),
I did not realize that Wales has a very storied mining history
with shale. I knew that coal had been important in Wales,
but did not know the story of shale.
Llanberis, Gwynedd LL55 4TY, United Kingdom is the location
of The National Slate Museum, a 'living museum in a former Victorian quarry.'
Llanberis has not been gened, so that the simple beauty of her natural slate colouring
can be fully enjoyed.

I think it is beautiful, and the slate and mulberry colouring perfectly coincides with my dear Fae's colouring as well

Llanberis and Astara met on a diplomatic mission. They each spent time in the other's home region, and now that they are bonded, they continue to reinforce the idea of interspecies cooperation by spending six months of the year among Llanberis' people and six months with Astara's.
