despite his age, Lykos was considered a respectable calm dragon. meditating often and lending himself a majority of his time for peaceful pondering, nothing really ruffled or frazzled the calm healer. not even Ranfang's ridiculous antics.... until that rotclaw came along.

the parasite was said to be harmless but something about Lykos changed. he began fiddling with potions and magic by himself as well as delving into darker books containing less than benign magic. the others in the clan worried about him truly, but when one talks to him, besides the occasional bizarre tangent, Lykos remains as calm and pleasant as ever... but is it all contrived now?
