Biography
I was born wrong.
Don't look at me like that. I was hatched healthy and whole. A true son of my mother.
Ah, now you see the problem.
I was far smaller than my body thought I should be. It caused... issues.
Romany pinpointed the problem when she first saw me. "He's a child of Ice," is what she told my parents. Which confused things even further until it was remembered that tundras came from the Southern Ice fields.
Jehanne merely looked at Jazz when my parents asked how they could get a breed change scroll for me. He nodded back, "Which one? Was all he asked.
It wasn't exactly painful, but it wasn't comfortable either. I shook myself as the magic faded and felt 'right' for the first time ever.
The clan has never asked anything of me in exchange for the scroll. Nor has it even been hinted at that I owe Stormcliff anything. The Stormcatcher wants things in their proper place. But I do feel indebted. I need to repay the gift given to me. Not because I owe something but because some future dragon may be born wrong again and they deserve the same blessing I had.
