(Halloween tale)
"There was this terrible accident."
The PC awoke in her nest with a start, absolutely terrified. One of her clan mates had been horrifyingly injured while foraging, falling into an acid pit that was just on the outskirts of the water territory. She remembered the others yelling for water, about how the diseased fumes had eaten away most of the poor dragon's legs and how they had to peel off the skin in order to save their hide. It was a horrifying nightmare, but it was funny as to how much she could barely remember any of it. Hopefully they had survived, poor dear...

"Who had it been, though?" She pondered, beginning to stand, he arms and legs sore and uncooperative. Her whole body ached, and she heard the creak of old metal as she began to walk out of the clan cave. Much to her horror, the hatchlings screamed and ran from her, shouting; "MONSTER! MONSTER!" and she paused in a curious notion, because surely they weren't speaking of her in such a way. She was one of the clan beauties, wearing the finest of golden silks and beautiful gold jewelry, all gifts from her late mate, Ravi.

With her golden mane and pearly skin, who could resist the most beautiful dragon in the land? Especially a hatchling, who's most keenest of interests lie in the collecting of the shiniest and most precious of treasures? Nonsense, the lot of it, they must've been playing a silly game.

She hurried after them, planning to try and join their game, but one of the elder dragons stopped her, a tall guardian by the name of Primavera, the healer of the clan.

"Aditi, you must return to the cave immediately, else your bandages will tear again." She warned.

"Bandages? I'm not... what do you mean?" Aditi looked up at her, brow furrowed.

Primavera looked at her in pity, "There was a... terrible accident, child..."
