Brassbard
A lanky skydancer with a knack for music, Brassbard entertains the clan most nights with his beautiful poetry and songs, using instruments he's collected during his travels. He's difficult to find when he's off writing his next lyrical masterpiece, but he can sometimes be seen daydreaming to the beat of Pitboss' metalworking. He describes it as "beautiful, and enchanting" ...or maybe that's the blacksmith's voice he was talking about? Belongs to Razrroth #15990 |

World's History A Poem to Recall the World's Tale Rising from a violent age,
the first four gained their names:
Earthshaker, Flamecaller,
Windsinger, and Tidelord;
the four whose battles were fought in vain. Centuries passed, the planet shifted,
another four rose, all just as gifted:
Lightweaver, Shadowbinder,
Stormcatcher, and Icewarden;
these four would soon learn of incoming misfortune. The world went silent when the Shade appeared The Eight fought fiercely, yet still they feared
the world would need protection.
Solemnly they vowed
to stop their quarrels,
The mighty World Pillar was made.
to protect their land, to sleep in marble. |

The rise of industry,
a warring age,
A prophet- the Speaker-
factions and cities, all stopped for a mage.
she spoke of great things-
The people they built it,
a machine to fuel the future- but what could it mean?
but what had they done?
They brought life to an end, all but just one... The twisted Arcanist rose from destruction,
and explored all he could see,
It was here he stayed,
a curious one, always searching, he claimed an observatory.
for nearly a decade,
He sought out the pillar,
and somehow he found, that devilish Shade.
to speak to the stars,
He danced and he swooned,
to summon the thing, that came from afar.
the magic he wove,
but the Shade- it lashed out, and from the pillar he dove. Unknown to him
were two warring sisters,
Gladekeeper's trees
risen from remnants, of nature and blisters.
splintered and shook
fighting Plaguebringer's sinuous,
rot-covered hooks
They fought and they thrashed,
til they saw the horizon
the Shade blacked out the stars, as the pillar had fallen. The truce was abandoned,
all hope appeared lost,
the deities scattered,
to the shards that were tossed.
The world was reborn,
new dragons enlisted,
created by gods,
who no longer listened.

There are ancients and moderns
seen abound these days,
all mingling and sharing
their elemental ways.
Our strengths, they all vary,
as much as our genes,
No two dragons alike,
we work well as a team.
To avoid Their conflict,
we grow stronger together,
in like-minded clans,
our bonds grow unfettered.
