Named in similarity to the chinese word for jade, Yu.

"Most of the clan have their preconceptions about Yuli - the first dragon in the clan who was born from the frigid ice of the south. Like a mirror of her birthplace, Yuli is coldhearted and aloof, often watching silently or snapping out a snide remark. The only one who can melt her cold heart is Inuyasha, her mate.
Inuyasha, however, is quite close to Seiki, and they often swap mates. The very idea of exchanging mates irks Yuli, but she doesn't object. Seiki has slowly been chipping away at Yuli's frosted exterior, but he's not quite to Inuyasha's level yet.
Yuli overall is avoided in the clan for her harsh ways, reminiscent of the frozen wasteland of her homeland and her colors. No one's quite sure what she wants, or what her purpose is, but Drakath is very firm in keeping her around. Rumors fly that Ishtar spoke of Yuli, and that's why her position is so cemented in the clan." - StopTheBats
