Ocean spends most of her time in the sea, just like most of her Guardian brethren. However, something seems to distinguish her from the rest - maybe the fact that she doesn't entirely seem like a Guardian. Nevertheless, she keeps the waters safe for travellers and rescues those who have fallen in. Milo and Kiro trust her as she has helped them countless times. She's actually a minor sea goddess, but she doesn't tell anyone that. Perhaps, the brothers have already figured it out.

personality;
Ocean is solitary by nature. Being the only dragon living in the straits between the Ashfall Wastes and Southern Icefields, there aren't many dragons she can talk to. Because of this, every time she gets an occasional visitor to the beaches near the cliffs, she will always want to go and check them out. Quite open to conversation, she can find many things to talk about, though her to-go topic of chatter is usually asking the visitors about their travel plans and dreams.

Being the goddess who keeps waves and skies safe for the operation of the flying ship, she has the respect of the maren living with her in the straits. Although her interactions with the maren clans are usually limited to just encountering a few hunting or patrolling groups every day, she still helps them whenever they require aid. She's also, in a way, a mediator between the maren clans and the travellers of Flying Ship Inn.

There aren't many things that Ocean cares about or is fiercely protective over, as she is about as free and flowing as the waves she lives in. However, she will always jump into action as quick as lightning whenever anything or any dragon falls into the sea from above. Even after she hauls them back up onto the cliff, she doesn't leave until they're properly settled by Milo or one of the other travellers. Others usually attribute this to Ocean simply doing her duty, but only Milo and Kiro know that there is something else that contributes to Ocean's urgency and panic in such a situation.

occupation;
Ocean doesn't have a so-called occupation that is set in stone. However, what her "job" can be understood to be is safeguarding the waters in the straits and returning lost valuables or fallen dragons back to the Flying Ship Inn. Before she came to reside in this area, though, back when she was still living with her former Guardian clan, she used to be a member of the scouting team, diving ever deeper into the Sea of a Thousand Currents each time in search for new treasures and curiosities. Perhaps her experience from her younger days explain how she is so attuned to the water.

About the maren: "Those guys are nice, really. I see them once in a while, and they're quite friendly. I owe it to them for letting me take up some of their space, even if I'm just one dragon."

Most know Ocean as the minor sea goddess guarding the waters, guaranteeing safe passage through the straits. But on days the flying ship doesn’t operate, she combs the waves, looking for something long lost that only she remembers.
