Mighty Mimic

Xyshaun, when fighting, makes up for his lack of size and brute strength in speed and his uncanny ability to flawlessly imitate the fighting style of any opponent he counters, beastclan or otherwise. This has landed him in a spot of trouble once or twice, as it has many a nocturne, but his teammates, Xylia and Heulwin, who is also his mate, have always been there; they all work together to guard their respective weak spots, and now function as smoothly as a well-oiled machine. Xyshaun has the speed, Xylia has the strength, and Heulwen has the strategy.
When he's with the clan, Xyshaun takes it easy. He spends quite a bit of time in the kitchens, helping Tairinkain steal snacks from under Bedivere's nose. And though Bedivere grumps, he never really means it, and he and Xyshaun can often be seen sitting by the river, chatting and fishing. He's made a habit of spending his evenings alone with Heulwen, although Xylia is an occasional guest, and helping her relax. This is the one routine he won't stand to have interrupted, and has been known to be incredibly snappish with dragons who've come visiting when he's getting ready to turn in for the night.
During the evenings, Xyshaun also likes to dabble in painting. He's not incredibly skilled by any means, and actually picked up the habit by accident one day while imitating Svanja, who is now giving him lessons, but he finds it incredibly relaxing. It's one of his absolute favorite things to kick back, grab the paints, and visit with his mate in the evenings.
