Jem

Having successfully avoided the unfortunate affliction of having hatchlings all throughout her younger years, Jem is quite resolute to keep things that way. She's far too concerned with her own comfort to spare any thoughts for little ankle-biters, instead preferring the company of younger males who are happy to make her the center of their attention.

She enjoys that attention, the back-and-forth playful flirting that goes on, the way they tease and dance around each other with their words, but always both parties know it's only lighthearted amusement to occupy their time and neither will ever develop serious attachments. Jem has no interest in settling down with a single partner and depriving herself of the enjoyment of charming new male drakes that enter her life.

And despite her age she has no lack of male admirers. Her natural poise and grace draw their attention, and she encourages them in their pursuits. They freely give her gifts as tokens of their affections, little trinkets and baubles that she keeps in her quarters. It's the most marvelous game, where all the players are implicitly familiar with the rules and there are no scorned emotions at the end.
