Poppo's interest is in finding ways to train and domesticate the various wildlife of Sornieth. Particularly the Hainus, which are notorious for being impossible to get a collar on.

He makes notes of what works and what doesn't. So far, he figures that trying to get a collar on them won't work and will only make them more wary of him and other dragons. Poppo did figure out that they like to get something in return when they do a task.

Mainly, give them some food to get them to trust him, then move to giving them treats when they get what he wants them to do. Poppo did need to figure out what exactly Hainus need to eat in order to win them over. He thought that maybe they'd eat some leaves...which resulted in a lot of Hainu poo on him when they not only refused it but were angered by it.

Undaunted, he continued to try until he found what they like. Getting them to trust him took quite awhile, but he's at the point where they'll come over and want to play with him. Poppo is still having trouble getting them to do what he wants. He knows that they are smart and that they are very stubborn.

Time will tell if he can truly domesticate them, but he is having a blast so far despite some misunderstandings that pop up now and then. He's rather quiet when with others though. Poppo does serve under Joseff as he wants to protect his Hainu friends from harm. And the rest of the clan too, of course.

He does like Amorra despite her obsession with dark things and toxins.
