Shrike

Easily one of, if not the, smallest Fae in the clan, Shrike is often found perching on his partner Sirocco's shoulder. He's utterly shrouded in his hodge podge apparel, often adding new trophies to his collection of furs and leathers.

The clan found this ferocious little Fae scavenging for food deep within the Viridian Labyrinth, quite wild. Presumably, he had been a tiny hatchling that became lost, or was abandoned, or perhaps even lost his family long before he could remember them. Utterly smitten, Sirocco took it upon herself to befriend and bring him to the clan. It took many many weeks (and many many insects), but eventually this feral little dragon joined the Faeclaw.

Shrike doesn't speak. Instead he communicates entirely through the rippling of his frills and short little growls. This could be voluntary mutism rather than an inability to speak, as Shrike does make all sorts of other sounds; or it may be that he just cannot form words. Either way, talk is simply something he doesn't do. It doesn't hold him back in the slightest.

Has a habit of hoarding food, and often finds a good thorn bush on which he can impale his stock for later. It's this habit that gave him his name.
