Voltshock

Voltshock is one of the few dedicates who did not come to the Archive of her own volition. Once a normal Lightning dragon, her only dream in life was to please the Stormcatcher with her hard work and dedication.

It was a simple mission, she was told. A quick flight to the Ashfall Waste, to collect new parts for the mechanics of the lightning spires. Instead she found herself buffetted by harsh winds and blown far off course. The Tidelord was angered, thinking his brother had sent a spy, and thought it fitting that a child of Lightning should die by Lightning. Voltshock was caught in the midst of a typhoon, struck over and over by bolts of sizzling energy.

During their exodus to the Starfall Isles, the Spiral Sanctuary found her washed up on the beach. Her once smooth skin was scarred, the power of the Lightning she had absorbed glowing through eerie markings. The Stormcatcher had protected his daughter after all.

Now one of the Eleven, Voltshock works in close quarters with Jadeglow, protecting her new home from the storms that may ravage it. Her heritage also gives her a way with mechanics, and she can often be found tinkering with some bit of cog or wire.
