"You're sitting beneath the waves while I'm high up in the sky. And I have no hopes of getting down."

A poet at heart, Drifter was, well, a drifter without a home until she found one in Calypso's clan. She's often seen by the cliffs with rolls of parchment, inkwells, and her own ink-stained claws because the quills she brought with her always fell apart in her hands.

Most of her poems are about herself or her last home. She much rather prefers to sit on the sandy shores of The Sea of A Thousand Currents instead of the rocky cliffs of the Zephyr Steppes. She usually equates the markings on her body and wings to the foamy waves of a home she once knew. A home she misses.

Dragons of other flights are not usually allowed to cross into other territories, so Drifter yearns for a place she can't go back to.

Many dragons would call her works touching and heartfelt if she let anyone see them. Drifter's writing is very private to her, and will only let you read them if she deems you worthy.

It is no surprise that Drifter is the Water Ambassador. It's the best chance she has at seeing the ocean she so covets.
