Keel is a Nocturne born to a neighboring clan in the Greater Furnace of the Ashfall Waste. Syrinx, while out for an evening flight with his partner Bacillus, found the young hatchling flying higher than any hatchling he'd ever seen. She clearly had a talent, and Syrinx was keen on bringing a dragon with such potential into his clan. With the blessing of her clan, Keel moved into the lair of Clan Aves.

Because she came to this clan so young, Keel feels comfortable among all of the dragons here and has no need for her kind's normal and excessively long yearly hibernation. Instead, she happily makes friends with most everyone here, and she aims to do her part for her people.

Her love of the sky keeps her in the air most of the time, and her keen eyesight allow her to be the perfect watchman in the sky after the sun has set. A clan as strong as this doesn't see all that many threats, but there are enough rival clans and the beastclans to make sure that they never let their guard down. In her short time with Clan Aves, Keel has already warded off two raids planned by the icy Clan Sharpclaw.
