Story goes that this here lil doofus wandered away from his parents possibly at a marketplace in the earth territory. Somehow he ended up in the cargo supply crates that Asohmituh (The clan matriarch) had ordered to be picked up and shipped to her clan’s home in the Fortress of Ends, a string of glaciers in the sea that go very deep and are held together by a mix of elemental dragons. In any case, Zereh, at the time a tiny mirror hatchling, had found herself in a crate containing several scrolls with magic imbued within them that changed a dragons species and patterns. Now, being a hatchling, and not knowing how to read yet, he decided to open several of the magically bound scrolls at the same time, Somehow activating them- resulting in not only turning into a Tundra, (mostly), physically maturing in a few minutes, and also having a few secondary magic scrolls go off at the same time. (Officially he has daub, IC he has mostly daub, stripe, and edges of current with a dabbling of spotting/freckling.
As soon as the dragons taking the delivery realized there was a terrified very stuck odd looking tundra in a box it couldn’t possibly have gotten itself into, they realized what had happened. Asohmituh herself has gone to the clan’s Mage to scry for the dragons parents to let them know where he is now, and to let them know what happened to him. Zereh, despite being homesick for his earthen clan, has decided to stay in the icy fortress to study under the clan mage and perhaps learn scoll-making, for which he apparently has a talent in working with despite being of Earthen elemental heritage.
His mane and thick fur seem to have grown out more than the rest of his body, and his muzzle isn’t entirely as rounded off as normal tundras, given he was once a mirror. He also has a semi hollow indent on his muzzle which the Healer of the clan found to be residual spaces where the extra eyes were on the mirror. Despite his new thick coat, he is finding it difficult to adapt to the frigid temperatures, so Aso gave him one of her many coats to keep. The other dragons in the lair have all given some trinket to help him feel more at home, though he wonders if Eran and Nyss are worried about him after he ran off.
Zereh intends to write home as soon as he learns to write, though Aso or one of the scrollmasters may help dictate a letter for him sooner, though as he is terribly confused over all this mishap scroll shenanigans, it might take him a little while to get the courage to let his family know where he ended up and what happened to him.
