Solaran

Solaran gave up his home in the Ice Flight in search of a very specific dragon. One night, a dragon with the gift of future vision told him that he must find a dragon who has lost her home to the quake, and that he must give her a book. When he asked more about this dragon, and the book, she only told him that he would meet this dragon at the edge of the Light territory, and to prove that they told the truth, offered him a daisy and said that he would need it.

He did need the daisy, which helped to ward off a fierce beast which was deathly allergic to daisies. Solaran took off for the Light Flight the day after. He searched up and down the borders of the Ruins, running into dragon after dragon, meeting plenty of Earth Flight wyrms but none who had lost their homes. And all the while, between his searching, Solaran read as many books as he could. So many he lost count.

Well-read but alone, Solaran finally decided to give it a rest. Obviously nothing would happen because he wanted it too. He took a trip to the coast, as far away from the borders between the flights as he could. Solaran found another Ice born dragon, who claimed to have seen him coming. Although he was becoming tired of these future seeing shenanigans, he took up her offer to stay in her clan for time, and "follow your own heart, not someone else's words."

He took some time in this clan to visit the library, and there he found Liadaen. Convinced she was the dragon he'd been searching for, he's been persuing her ever since, offering book after book despite her rude remarks and callous personality.
