Typical of most Wind dragons, carefree Siaurys had a hunger for travel. As soon as his parents said he was old enough to learn how to fly safely, he leapt of a cliff and spread his wings, gliding smoothly across the sky... until it was time for him to land. He crash-landed into a natural fountain in an area he later found out was the Bamboo Falls. Although he decided that crashing into water wasn't fun, he didn't let it get him down. He continued trying to get airborne from the ground, coming upon a litter of young Hainu pups. Not knowing why the pups were alone, he raised them and took care of them, calling the Bamboo Falls his home. Siaurys eventually got the hang of flying, and in a year, the pups were flying with him.

That was the first of many adventures. When his Hainu friends went off on migration, Siaurys went his own way. A storm crashed him into water once again (the Sea of a Thousand Currents this time), but instead of being alone, he found dragons. The clan welcomed him to stay, which he did; he was glad to be in close contact with dragons for the first time since leaving his home. He met a friendly, if competitive, Nocturne named Felurian who admired his spirit of adventure. She personally liked to organize challenges like eating contests and dodge-rock competitions and invite clan members to partake and have fun. The two got along quite well and decided to become casual mates. They would raise a clutch together, and then Siaurys would leave the Sea to travel for a few months while Felurian did her own thing. When Siaurys returned, the cycle continued.

Siaurys has traveled all around the world and experienced so much of what it has to offer. He helped Snappers in Dragonhome dig tunnels as a base for an underground museum. He explored the industrial cities in the Shifting Expanse and learned about his roots as a Ridgeback. He was attacked in the jungles of the Shrieking Wilds, so after he had another clutch with Felurian, he stayed in the clan to train under one of the warriors. In just a few months, he was a warrior himself, and went on traveling with the comfort that he could defend himself if he was attacked again. After many years, with a burning desire to explore more of the Sea than the Leviathan Trench, Siaurys bid farewell to Felurian and the rest of his clan. He let the currents guide his path before finding a clan who welcomed him down at the bottom of the ocean, in the Spiral Keep.

And the rest is history.
