When he was born, he was barely affected by the mold. But, his Arcane blood mingled with it.
It called him to enchant himself, it called him to corrupt himself, it called him to infect himself.
The more infected he got, however, the more he was called to Plague.Or is it nature...? He can't tell them apart... He needed to grow the Family there.
But, he needed to utilize as much of his birth magic as possible to ensure his strength!
And that meant more enchanting.
Through years of testing, he managed to access the recessive ancient form his Flight tied him to.
He's seen amazing things among these dragons... even the non-"initiated" were developing growths and releasing spores! Or sprouting flowers from their very flesh, or passively leaking smoke.
Indeed, they are home to a boundless number of mutations, kin to bugs and plants and fungi alike.
This was a great stock of blood for the Family!
We will be proud to take it over.
