Claws scratched on paper, then paused, then resumed. The dark ink dripped, causing small blots on the paper, but not enough to interrupt the smooth, graceful letters that Parysatis penned. The script seemed to flow across the page, filling first one side, then the other, and eventually pages upon pages. After around ten pages, Parysatis signed her name with a flourish, and folded the papers. A large envelope barely managed to hold it all. She gently washed his claw off to remove any excess ink (her talon seemed permanently dyed black), and brought out a small candle. He selected the perfect colors of wax, and melted them over the candle, then poured the wax onto the envelope to seal it. She thought for a second, grabbed a dried flower and pressed it into the wax. Finally, she pushed her unique signet into the warm wax, creating a beautiful masterpiece whose origin would be lost on no one. Satisfied, Parysatis left to deliver the letter personally. After all, the dragon she was giving it to was far more important than the letter she was delivering.
