Name derived from the Brazilian Teal, Amazonetta brasiliensis

"Hey there, wanna know why they call me Amazon?"
Son of high ranking members of his kingdom. Goes by Amazon.
His parents's status earned him a place in the air force though he has no interest. Very bookish, particularly loves history. Because he insists on technical precision, he's good at his position, and learns new skills well. "If one is going to do something, willing or not, at least do it correctly." Unfortunately, his love of history has inspired racist tendencies towards darker colored dragons. The rulers and nobles of a formerly rival kingdom were darker shades while the two kingdoms were at war, and so Amazon shares the historians's distrust and dislike. Much to his dismay, he's in an arranged engagement with a double obsidian Skydancer he's never met from said former rivals, as a symbol of trust between the two.
Amazon also had a sadistic childhood; he enjoyed pulling legs off of insects
and watching injured animals or fish out of water struggle. He is still very cold, though has learned that his behavior was not socially acceptable, but he doesn't fully understand why. This lack of social comprehension has allowed him to make very harsh comments and be too rough physically with others.
He has a particular fondness for Pearlcatchers as a species,
he finds their pearls fascinating, being portable memory banks. Amazon is incredibly flirty to try to cover up his homosexuality. He has developed an infatuation with a young Pearlcatcher immigrant, Sigil, despite Sigil's midnight primary.
