Biography
Gemini has always been more soft spoken, and when he came to Lux Caeli it took quite some time for him to open up to the clan and it's leader, especially since many of the others seemed to be afraid of him. He was large and dark and overall foreboding in their eyes.
He spent much of his time outside of the lair, walking or flying to other regions to escape the flat, crackling lands of the Shifting Expanse. Even with his dark scales he enjoyed basking in the sunshine illuminating the Sunbeam Ruins.
On one of his flights he found a crystaline garden tucked away in the Starfall Isles, the sun shining through huge points of quartz. He landed in the soft grass, closing his eyes and letting the warmth of pink and purple shaded light soak through him. The shadowy imperial explored the area, but found little more than rabbits inhabiting the pocketed paradise.
Once he was sure there was no danger he returned to the center, where the facets of light crisscrossed over his head, laid down, and slept,
When Gemini woke, he yawned and stretched, straightening with a start when he heard the soft tinkling of crystals brushing together rather than the heavy flap of flesh from his wings. He found his wings pink and crystalline like the spires he'd slept among, the color extending to where the warm light had pooled over his face and limbs.
He found himself to be in no pain... He actually felt like himself.
Flying home was a new experience. He felt graceful and beautiful, no longer dark and sad as he had been before. There was surprise when he returned to the lair, his once dark wings now pink, transparent and shimmering in the light. He smiled more and those who had been wary and timid before approached him, the hatchlings no longer squealed and tumbled away when he approached, now preferring to play on his back and under the glimmering stretch of his wings.
In that crystalline cove, Gemini found himself and in finding himself he finally found his home.
