Costanzo

Enigmatically cheerful, with a knack for bumbling about at the most inopportune moments, Costanzo manages to retain his aforementioned demeanor despite how many times his name has been misspelled. He is surprisingly wise, for all his clumsiness and literal approach to the world. Cos operates as the de facto Granddad of the clan, carrying around strange candies in his pockets to hand out to hatchlings, and dropping lots of unnecessary puns into every conversation.

Besides his role on the Inner Council, he works to oversee the larger crimes and offenses that happen on Banyan-Bent territory. If anyone wishes to pass a case up for Remi's judgement, after it goes through their Flight representative, it must pass through Costanzo and his investigative crew (yet to be decided).

Costanzo often finds himself at odds with Cricket, who usually remarks that Cos should've retired by now, though no one is really sure how many of their disagreements are real. (This is not helped by Costanzo's own enjoyment at making Cricket out to be a fool.) He and Katara enjoy a more obviously friendly banter, and genuinely one another's company.

Cos' daughter Maya, who is currently living under Abby at the Cliffs of Nods, makes an effort to visit her old-bones father from time to time. Though she has not confided in him what incited her to leaf the Verdurous Terrace behind, a part of him can't help but be glad that she is here with him all the same. He enjoys sending her care packages to add to her hoard on the days when he struggles to return the visiting favor and can't quite muster up the energy to trek over to the Cliffs on his lonesome.
