Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this musical nocturne wandered a little too far from her lair (#100947, MusicalMaladies), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Kavindra's first stop was in a Nature clan deep in the Viridian Labyrinth. The dragons there were also great lovers of music, and she spent many long nights playing her pipeflute and dancing with them among the trees. She learned to hear the music in the chirping of insects and the babbling of the river, and even in the sway and sigh of trees in the wind. Though the clan she was staying with was welcoming and she greatly enjoyed the days she spent there, eventually Kavindra became restless. Before long, she bid farewell to her new friends and traveled onwards, eager to see more of the wonders this world had to offer.
_______
She stopped in another Wind clan for a few days, and immediately felt a little homesick. After some encouragement from another traveler, Enchant, she decided to keep on going.
_______
For the longest time, Kavindra stayed with the Stormtide Clan. For the longest time, it felt like home. There, she learned many songs and traditions of the Water dragons whom lived there.
But she became restless. It started small, but over time grew and grew until it could no longer be ignored. Kavindra still had more to see, more to learn. With little ceremony and a great many tearful farewells, the young bard continued onwards.
_______
Kavindra was looking for something familiar, and she was happy to see the scenery change to green. Familiar breezes brought her to a large meadow and a friendly wind clan took her in. She felt lucky to hear the clan ha d a small group of musicians: Moira the drummer, Dawn the singer and songwriter and Wigglypuff the string instrument player and instrument maker.
During her stay Kavinda learned new songs and some instrument making basics. She spent most of her time with Wigglypuff, but she learned a new genre os music: jazz in the clan, so she took the time to practice alone as well as practice in "band performances".
She enjoyed her stay but felt she didn't fit in the clan. She was excited to learn even more instruments, meet even more musicians and visit other flights' territories too.
_______
In Silverpine's lair, she sang with the bard Era and the singer HalfMoon. Drizzle, the artist of the clan drew her a portrait. She gave it to Kavindra and sent her on her way.
_______
Kavindra later moved on towards the shades of the shadow realm. It was surprisingly peaceful here, asides from the occasional enraged scream as a imperial or pearlcatcher found that their whiskers had been tied together in an impish prank. However, this clan seemed to tone deaf, and after having spent some time of increasingly frustrating attempts to teach them a musical appreciation, Kavindra decided that it was time to bid farewell to her somewhat tone deaf friends.

Quote:
Kavindra is a young carefree spirit and loves to listen and play music. She wishes nothing more than to travel the world and hear the beautiful songs each and every Flight has to offer. Accompanied by her Ragamouse, Lyra, the two set off with nothing but the clothes on their back and Kavindra's favorite Wooden Pipeflute.
