"We have nothing to fear in the unknown,
if we always remember the light of day." From the day she hatched Kelp has had a fascination with water. Her parents constantly pulled her from ponds and lakes, fearing the small child would be consumed as easily as a worm. But it would not stop her. Kelp learned to swim on her own, and dive out of a morbid curiosity for the unknown. The deep dark water was frightening, even for her, but with her own Light elemental powers she was able to see even in the dankest trench. Now, as an adult with both skill and know-how she wishes to explore and learn about what the sea has to offer. She spends more of her time in water than air, and though she's not huge on eating fish herself she often brings home amazing catches for the hungry Coatls of her clan. - Wears gold/yellow accessories to represent the sun. Believes keeping the sun and light in general with her protects her even in deep water, and ensures a safe journey home. - Its her job to teach hatchlings to swim, though its an optional course. Those who learn all love it, through learning from a noodle is harder than it needs to be. - She uses her element to illuminate light from her eyes (sorta like headlights), palms (like flashlights), and belly (like searchlights) to aid in her exploration. - When I get more apparel slots she still needs her Black Protective Eyewear, and Golden Sage Tassel. |
