When Velvet the Comedian moved on to exaltation in order to entertain the Arcanist, the clan found themselves a bit down without his jokes and pranks around to cheer them up. Fortunately, it wasn't long before another comedian joined the clan - Inferno.
In his own words, Inferno considers himself "a living, breathing joke" - a dragon completely engulfed in flames without even the benefit of a skin or an accent making it so. His unique composition led him to accidentally set things on fire almost incessantly as a hatchling. This led to his birth clan offering him up as exalt fodder.
He was spotted in the Auction House by the clan's Coliseum Fighter, Hellfire, who had recently burst into flames, herself, as a result of a blessing from the Flamecaller. She approached him and the two found they had much in common. Inferno was adopted into the clan and, in time, their friendship turned to love.
Naturally, Inferno considers himself a member of the Fire flight, despite being born into the Light flight. He feels it would be unnatural for a flaming dragon to be a part of any other flight, though he delights in trying to convince new dragons in the clan that he's in the Water flight. "You should see their faces!" he crows happily.
In adulthood, Inferno has found some problems with his flaming body - particularly in his arms. Being the thinnest part of himself, as well as a part tasked with holding his body weight upright, he occasionally experiences pain and weakness in these limbs. To combat that, he wears supportive wraps around his forelimbs to keep the flames under control.
