Along with Will, Iorek returned to the shattered plain with Lyra to help clan Dread. This was purely for Lyra, as Iorek has little interest in clan affairs, and prefers to live a solitary life. However, he has continued to stick around, and has recently become the primary metalsmith of the clan, providing the weapons and armor the clan needs for the neverending battle against encroaching beastclans.
Iorek continues to remain distant, but can sometimes be found in the hatchling section of the lair. He has a special place in his heart for these young ones, for when they are fully grown he may help train them as warriors themselves. A practical dragon, he will not let any dragon leave the lair without every bit of armor and supplies they may need for their journey, whether it be to the next clan over or across Sornieth.

Iorek listened to the banging and screeching down the hall. "The mechanists are at it again- they think they can replace good old steel with cogs and electricity. But it is of no matter- as long as they are still wanted, I will forge my own tools of war."

Iorek started up the fire. His helmet had been destroyed in the last battle, and today he needed to craft a new one. But before he could start, he was interrupted...

"Iorek, the harpies have come!" A distraught young fae yelled through the smoke that had filled the room. "What will we do, Iorek?"

"Simple, young one. We will go to war." Iorek staunched the fire and grabbed a spare helmet off the wall and rushed out the door. His new helmet would have to wait, it was time for battle!
