Mace
Clan Thistledown's second blacksmith, Mace is a big dragon with a heart of fluff and a penchant for monologuing.
He originally arrived at the clan as a wandering blacksmith, having made his way around a lot of Sornieth prior to that. At first, he was unhappy with the idea of having to share a forge - and especially sharing with a burned, silent tundra! - but the more time he spent with Blade the more he came to enjoy her company. He learned how to interact with the taciturn tundra, and eventually the two settled down together as blacksmiths-in-residence.
Mace is perfectly happy to have dragons watch him smith, and likes to explain his process to them as he works. He also likes to show the hatchlings how exciting smithing can be, hopefully inspiring some to join him and Blade in the forge.
He's breedmates and nestmates with Blade.
