Brutus

Brutus was a nomadic, wandering dragon with no clan of his own. He is Light-aligned in origin, but it is unknown what happened to his original clan.

He became a street performer in the marketplace to get by, which is how he eventually met his mate, Volumnia. She was enchanted by his talents, and found that they had many shared interests. Over time, they fell in love, and Volumnia extended the invitation for Brutus to come and live with her and her clan in Chicanery Hollow, which he happily accepted.

They are incredibly happy together, and now have three children; two of whom are learning the family trade of street performance and storytelling.

He is a true gentle giant, heartfelt and kind, with a love for all living things. While living in the land of the Shadow flight contrasts with his Light-born sensibilities, as long as he is with Volumnia and their children, he'll always be happy.

After a natural disaster ravaged their home and killed many, Brutus and his mate have sent their remaining child, Adrian, to the safety of Clan Angellus. They are now searching for a new sense of joy in their lives following the tragedy; travelling the world in an attempt to revive their performing act.

Charge of Balem. After Balem was killed by the diabolical witch Fall during her reign of terror, and Volumnia was thought to be lost forever, Brutus walked out onto the edges of the Wyrmwound and never returned. He wandered and wandered aimlessly, still under the influence of Fall's dark magic, until he ultimately reached the home of Clan Angellus, and their powerful energies of light magic broke the spell's hold on him. He shall now live out the rest of his days there.
