  AIREN She is practical, first and foremost. When Aconite instructed the clan that the role of Blessed Speaker's Shadow would be continuing she stepped forward easily. Her logical viewpoint is a good counter balance to Obsidian's slightly one track, religious mind. Falling in love with him should have been illogical. A fickle foolish emotion that she normally looked down on. Yet, with Obsidian, it came to her naturally. (autism coded but tbh I'm autistic so all my ocs are autism coded...) |

Her Decision Maker helps her every single day. Both with the creation of forms for the clan, and also -like the name implies- with decisions big and small. Many others don’t believe the Decision Maker is any sort of cute, seeming to assume she keeps it around for its usefulness, however Airen thinks the Decision Maker is the cutest familiar.

 The Jobs Of The Blessed Speaker's Shadow The role of the Blessed Speaker's Shadow is to aid the Blessed Speaker in whatever they need. Mainly this entails secretary work such as organising papers, setting up meetings, and figuring out what needs to be done and exactly when it needs to be done. There is also the odd job of being to go between of the go between. The Blessed Speaker brings the clan the words from the Plague bringer, yet his Shadow brings the words of the clan to him. |

Airen took to the Shadow role easily. Creating forms to fill out is actually something she took great joy in, setting up meetings and schedules was satisfying. In fact if she wasn’t doing this she’d most likely be studying math! Either in the library or somewhere else.
The only part she struggled with was the fighting. GeLeYaShan had to spend many extra hours teaching her how to battle. Most of the training had to do with how to make sure the Blessed Speaker stays alive and unhurt, which was admittedly easy for Airen to care about.
Obsidian doesn’t ask her for much yet, but they both know that when Aconite and GeLeYaShan retire both their jobs will get vastly harder. Obsidian also needs help during his visions, which Aconite and GeLeYaShan don’t have much experience with .

The Redbolt Construct
It was a gift from GeLeYaShan to help with keeping an eye out for things. The only part of being the shadow she's ever struggled with. She's quite font of the little guy though, despite knowing he's not really a living creature. And, much to GeLeYaShan's chagrin, she is often seen petting it.
