Áh-gah-vey - Clan healer
Agave is Chestnut and Fern's first cousin twice removed.

There was a time when Agave had a family. She had a gorgeous mate and three beautiful children of her own. But when her two youngest hatchlings were sacrificed to the Plague God by a band of fanatics who wished to spread the rot into the Earthkeeper's land, it all changed. Her family couldn't stand this blow, and broke apart, torn by guilt and remorse. They all scattered, unable to face each other, and left her alone. Abandoned by all, an ill-hearted Agave left her now empty nest and her clan, looking for a quick death to be reunited with her babies.

Her wandering took her near the vicinities of the Viridian Labyrint, a forest rumoured to contain a mushroom capable of killing even the toughest of beasts. Unable to cope with the deaths of her youngest son and only daughter, she set herself on the path to find that poisonous fungus, not caring about anything else, only stopping to eat, drink and sleep when she felt the forces abandoning her.

What she came upon instead was the Clan's den in a frenzy. A very ill Juniper, about to die, allowed her to spend the night with them, seeing something special in her eyes. Agave repayed the favour by saving her using the knowledge she had on healing herbs. The next morning, more ill people showed up to her sleeping space, asking for her help. And this is the story of how she stayed and found her purpose. She couldn't save her babies, nor her family. She could, however, help her new Clan. Thus began Agave's new life.
