1. Do they know how to swim?
He's one of the crew's fishers, he's the one catching food and preparing seafood along with his mate. The only dragon that beats the waterstone coatls in the swimming department is Tumult.
2. If they had a parrot, what word would they try to teach it?
He's not sure, he doesn't think he would ever own a parrot. But some of his crewmates own parrots and he's mostly contributed small random words into their vocabulary.
3. Have they ever been caught stealing something? What happened afterwards?
He doesn't steal - the pearls he gets are from diving. He wouldn't be above taking goods from sunken ships - even if they're freshly sunk. He's been caught doing this a few times, playing on the language barrier between coatls and other dragons usually works, as well as offering a bit of treasure.
4. If their hatchlings would use swear words, how would they respond?
Lots of feather flaring, probably not much else. Would likely redirect with a different set of words his hatchling could use
5. Would they rather fire a cannon of fight with a sword?
By far would prefer a trident over either, it's what he's comfortable with using. Can use a cannon or a sword though. If forced to chose he'll be manning the cannons with his mate.
6. How much would they approximately be willing to bet in a game of dice?
Trinkets, small amounts of treasure and a bit of pearls.
7. What is their biggest irrational fear?
Starfish. They creep him out, he believes that they actually did fall from the sky and that unnerves him greatly. Fortunately he doesn't come across them often.
8. If some dragon were to betray them in combat, how would they respond?
A lot of angry humming and feather fluffing - he'd get the pearlcatcher crewmate involved and things would not go well for the betrayer. After the fighting though? He'd be just fine with them again.
9. Do they ever insult their Elemental God?
He doesn't consider the Gladekeeper to be his god, rather, he prays to the Tidelord for safekeeping. He doesn't think of the Gladekeeper enough to insult her honestly. The Tidelord's absence is unnerving the entire crew.
10. For an entire day, would they rather go without food or without love and affection?
Ohhh that's a hard one. Forced to chose he'd pick food, he needs company and doesn't do well without it.
