The BlazeBonded are dragons who, when struck by an Onyx Cobra, find their bodies adapting and completely changing to accommodate the new gems in their scales. 		fJ6wwIw.png

Their wings begin sprouting new hues to match their gems, as well as other accent colors. This helps disguise the infection from other dragons.

Not that any of them have tried, but one wonders whether the bite of a BlazeBonded can also spread the gene. As the current sole cases consist of Skydancers, there isn't much risk to any dragons but the insectoid, such as Aethers, Everluxes, and Veilspun, and then only when one is starving and delirious. The Skydancer's innate ability to feel the emotions of others makes it unlikely that they would attack a fellow dragon, in theory.
