Kestrel is, in essence, the embodiment of all the typical traits associated with the wind flight. Friendly, joyful, and carefree, he once ventured through all the lands of Sornieth in search of new adventures before finding his home with the gentle breezes of the Plateau. Nowadays, he is tasked with instructing the newcomers to the Abode on how to navigate the currents that sweep the land, and he does so with great pleasure (as it often gives him many opportunities to share his stories of how he - not once, but twice! - braved the eye of the Twisting Crescendo).

Amusingly enough, he actually was not born to the element of wind, but rather that of earth.
