Biography

Beastclan Ambassador and Familiar Tamer

With an affinity for animals more suited for a Natureborn, Peridot was a strange sort. Growing up, he was always interested in the beastclans that roamed outside his homeland, but none ever went deeper than a few miles into the Ashfall Waste... so, Peridot grew up always in trouble, as his excursions to the outer limits of the land were often unsupervised and unexpected.

As soon as he was big enough and strong enough to travel much farther away from his home, he embarked on an adventure to study the fauna in other lands. In the way, he found his particular knack for befriending beastclans was not only helpful, but often apretiated! His skydancer talents as well and his efforts in learning the language and customs as he traveled made him a valuable settler of conflicts for clans at odds with neighboring tribes of beastclans. Many of them asked him to stay, help if it was necessary again, but he never quite found a reason to stay anywhere for long...

Until a seemingly routine consultation for a certain clan. After everything had been settled between them and the nearby Serthis, his gracious hosts offered to let him stay for a couple of days, whereupon one of the members, a small Fae, was not only incredibly interested in his travels and experiences, but was also very open of his own experiences. Many warm conversations ensued between Peridot and Sadalsuud, ranging from scientific to casual, sharing the nuances of their knowledge of Serthis venom and Toridae scales... They talked so long, so nicely, that Peridot just simply forgot to leave.

Since that day, he has become the Miyzan clan's resident ambassador to the beastclans around the lair, as well as the handler of familiars. He's very patient and calm, laid back but dedicated to his role, and excitable when presented with a new species to handle. His easily flowing demeanor is very welcome in the layer, not only to calm the animals, but also to help calm the very residents.
