Hadiya had been cursed with the monotonous tones that Fae were born with, but had the passion of her other half, an Imperial. Ever since she let a little ray of light out of her baw, she had been in love with magic. She was always very distant and withdrawn, even among other Fae. As soon as she was old enough to study for her profession in her Light clan, she was reading books and practicing until her body ached with exhaustion, and even then she continued to practice and learn.

When she came of age to, she left her clan to widen her horizons. She wanted to learn more, she wanted to know how other types of magic worked and why. She ended up staying with a Wind clan and an Earth clan before wandering again, the wanderlust too strong to ignore.

Then, she came across a Fire clan and as soon as they welcomed her, she didn't want to leave.

Not only were the co-leaders so friendly and warm, mostly everyone else treated her just as kindly, if not more so. She was given a den and welcome gifts, apparel and books and food, and she almost was too overwhelmed. She found that they didn't have a magic user like all the other clans she had visited did, and she made a decision quickly, almost instantaneously. She would stay and learn, and be a part of this growing clan.
