A low, discordant hum fills your ears as you rise, higher and higher towards the glittering night sky. You wonder if you've crossed the barrier preventing the Shade's entry, but no; the prominent crystalline structure and eerie glow of the Starwood Strand is still shimmering far below. A shadow falling over your line of sight catches your attention, and when you look up, the last thing you see is a monstrous asteroid and a lunging mass of unnaturally dark scales before your mind goes blank.
