The Unseelie Flameforest burns perpetually, its blackened trees like vast torches which shower sparks, embers, and bits of lit wood onto a forest floor of charcoal and ash. It is the ancestral home of the Embermournes who hold it sacred. Their spells and rituals maintain the ancient magic which keeps the fire from burning itself out. Along with the woodsmoke the air has a crisp and wintry scent, and the soft crackling of the flames is never far.
