Long ago banescales were nearly wiped out, leaving only a single large clutch behind. They hatched with only the songs of their lost ancestors, and their fellow orphans, to guide them.
This flock of banescales have found company with each other; they are allied with Pileju's clan, but prefer to keep their distance. They migrate to a new patch of forest every year, leaving the charred area of their previous residence to regrow more lush than ever before.
