Welcome to Fardove Meadow

A wandering Obelisk ventures from her homeland, seeking lush forests and groves to create a sanctuary for all things great and small.

After many scorching days and freezing nights spent searching, she found a secluded, but rather neglected, meadow. The grass was dry and overgrown, and the few trees that dotted the landscape were bare and starved of water.

“I can do some good here” Pomi thought to herself, and she got to work.

It took a long time to finally start seeing improvements, and the work was laborious and tiring, but the once pathetic-looking meadow started to show signs of life once more.

New trees and shrubs were planted, in the hopes of blooming into beautiful structures bursting with colours and tasty fruits to eat. A lake and system of streams were implemented, allowing easy access to water for the plants and animals Pomi hoped to see moving into the area soon.

After all of her hard work, she was exhausted. And settled down next to a large mossy rock with glowing mushrooms decorating its surface. “How beautiful” she thought as she drifted off into a deep slumber.

A millennia had passed by the time Pomi awoke from her sleep, and she had woken to one of the most beautiful sights a dragon could imagine.

The meadow was bustling with life, critters darted from bush to bush, birds chirped in sprawling trees overhead, and colourful koi fish could be seen dancing elegantly in the lake.

Pomi tried to stand up to see more of this beautiful place, but realised that she herself had become part of the landscape due to her long slumber. Moss from the Boulder she slept next to had grown onto her, along with the mushrooms. Small flowers bloomed on her wings and she could see a few nests that animals had built up around her.

Her movement had startled the creatures close by, and they approached the large creature timidly. Without uttering a sound, the animals seemed to understand that Pomi meant them no harm, climbed up onto her and began to carefully separate her from the overgrowth. They even moved their nests away without complaint.

With a bow as thanks, Pomi strode outwards into the lush blooming meadow and admired every sight, the animals all followed behind her, some being so brave as to hitch a ride on her back, which Pomi did not mind in the slightest.

With a deep sigh she sat down by the lake and looked up at the clear blue sky, “Don’t you worry, I’ll keep this place safe as long as I live.” She told the many creatures around her, and with that, she became the guardian of Fardove Meadow.

Side Note

In this clan we rescue Pallas and Ashmane cats! They are sweet little guys despite their grumpy expressions, the dragons here cater to their every need and make sure they are happy!

Mouse oversees most of the care the cats need, and is also responsible for training other dragons to provide the correct level of care these fluffy sweethearts need.
