This clan was first founded by Sika, a dishonest power hungry soul who used others for her gain. During the early days of the clan, it consisted of mainly travelers, many didn't stay long. One of these travelers, Thoth, fathered a child who would eventually be Sika's downfall.
Nemisis
born with the power of prophecy, she knew from an early age that Sika was eventually going to drive the clan do its downfall, leaving death and destruction in her wake. Sika did what she could to silence the young fae, sending her on long tasks away from the others, keeping her under close watch. but now that the fae was nearly grown, There was only one thing Sika could do. she needed to kill Nemisis
It was storming. the night was black as they set up camp near carrion canyon, rain pored down on the disgruntled dragons as they struggled to find shelter from the downpour. Nobody had been happy with Sika's decision to cross the canyon to get to the trading post, but nobody dare stand up to her. so once everyone was sheltered and fed, they slept for the night. Sika, however, had other plans. Creeping up to the young fae, bundled in furs, sika quickly grabbed the tangle and ran for the cliff. wrapping the furs tighter over the child's sleeping form, she flew to the center of the canyon, and dropped her. Turning around, she settled into her own spot for the night, No child could survive that fall, and even if she did, the beasts would finish her off.
Sika awoke, bound in chain, close to teetering off the edge of carrion canyon, she wriggled and squirmed, trying to break free, but it was useless. The crowd of angered dragons parted, allowing a small figure to walk through.
Foolish of Sika to think the child didn't know of her plan
Even more foolish of her to think that Nemisis wouldn't fight back.
The deliberation on what to do with the tyrant took little time at all, most everyone wanted to give Sika the same treatment that Nemisis would have gotten. But Nemisis spoke out, arguing for banishment instead,
Why stoop to her level? how will death teach her a lesson?
and so she was sent away. Cast away to wander as she always did.

Though Sika was dealt with, there was much work to do. The camp they had set up was made more comfortable, laying down more furs and putting up tarps in the case of rain. Once all were fed and comfortable, Nemisis stood to speak.
Our loyalty mustn't be splintered. we must find out place under the gods, only then may we settle.
some argued, saying how much easier it was to stay out of flights and away from dominance fights. But Nemisis was adamant that the clan would need the protection. a day of deliberation and they settled on the powers of the arcane, hoping to set out the next morning. the clan slept for the night
in the dead of night, there was a Crash
upon closer inspection, the clan found a lone egg, tucked away in the tree that had been split in two by a strike of lightning. Once it had been brought back, tucked away in a makeshift nest, they waited. Moving was delayed until the egg hatched, as it would be too hard to keep it safe on the move.
after about a week, it had begun
A bright light shown from the first crack in the egg, blinding those who tried to look into it.
another crack, and then another, and finally, a booming voice spoke from the newly hatched dragon inside.
STORMCATCHER SENDS HIS REGARDS
the spiral babe inside fell limp, quickly given a once over. They were fine, healthy as can be, but their eyes shown with the light of a storm. Nemisis stood up to speak to the clan
