Eyelet's Clan

I don't usually sell dragons on the AH but love seeing them go to happy homes, so if you see a dragon in my fodder or exalt tags that you like, just let me know!

Clan Starsong is mixed breed, cave system lair, and is located in the Spires at the south end of the Star Wood Strand. It's large cave mouth is visible from the strand below. There is a small winding path up the mountainside that allows access of flightless visitors, but near all of the residents of the lair prefer to fly the distance.

Inside the cave, there is one main hall. Although it's rare to ever see it full, it is even rarer to see it empty, as all the residents of the lair love to gather in the many communal nests there to eat, relax together, and share news. Although private lairs are always available to adult dragons who wish them, all the adolescents and many of other midsized dragons of the clan claim or create nests in the great hall for their own, and live in the main hall full time.

Although many of the smaller caves in the lair have windows to let in light, this room, and much of the rest of the lair is lit by magical crystals embedded in the ceiling and infused with sunlight. During the day, they give off a bright warm light, very like natural sunlight. At night however, they grow pink and purple, and their light ripples, as if imitating the movements of the cosmos itself.

Assorted large wooden doors and open tunnels on the first level level of the main hall house the private lairs of the largest dragons, as well as the library, pantry, treasury, nursery, forge, and hoard. One large, lowly lit tunnel in the back of the lair leads to the underground beach and brackish water pools underneath the spires, where several of the clan's guardians live together.

Above this first level of the main hall, largely unnecessary elaborate systems of staircases and ladders lead to the private lairs of the adult mid-sized dragons in the clan. The tunnel entrance to the lairs garden is also located here, safely out of reach of overeager baby tundras.

The clan is led by it's founder, Kana, a small, muscular, heavy set guardian female. She is a fierce fighter, and a natural matriarch. The clan recognizes her as an outstanding leader, kind and fair, extremely wise, with a soft spot for hatchlings and little tolerance for conflict within her clan. Many of the clan residents see her as a mother figure, and as she has no children of her own, she's more than willing to assume that role for her clanmates.
Kana has the executive word in all clan matters, and although she always takes the opinions of her clanmates and several advisers into account when making decisions, her word is final. Thankfully, she's good at what she does, and her clanmates trust her, so this is rarely, if ever, a cause for contention.

The clan's relationships with the beast clans are fairly sound, [partly due to the work of the beast clan ambassador dragons within the clan. Centaurs live inside the clan at times, and come and go as they please. Starsong dragons share a particularly strong bond with the Maren, as several small tribes reside in the brackish pools and waters beneath the spire, and come and go through tunnels that leave into the open sea. The several guardian dragons that live there too work to protect the maren and help them when they can.

The Copper Qiriq is a large, deceptively ordinary tavern located at the focal point of the Arcane Isles.
Their crafted beers and meads, the charge of the guardian bartender, are excellent.
The rooms available are clean and comfortable, if simple and somewhat plain.
The company available for purchase, however, is far less so.
