I am active on the site. I specialize in dragons of colors that don't get as much love. I may eventually start a nursery. Though, there are many out there already- I'll have to see.

Fun Facts:
-a fruit is anything (botanically) that disperses seeds. Strawberry fruits are the seeds. The flesh that is consumed is called the accessory fruit
-most trees are unrelated. That is why each species of tree can have very different smelling wood. Tree is just a shape of plant!
-humans can eat thousands of species of plants. It wasn't too long ago (over 200 years) that our ancestors ate a wide variety of plants. Check if your local weeds are edible! Dandelions are cool bitter greens (check for herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides in the area before consuming)
-forests grow in multiple phases. The timespan of this depends. Usually it is over 100 years to reach secondary growth.
-hackberries are very edible. Research and find out if there are any hackberries in your area and find one to visit- you won't regret it. Disclaimer: hackberries are seasonal. Best to catch them when they are ripe!
