This winter hasn't been so rough
Oh, it was cold but still it wasn't cold enough
to freeze the blood beneath my spine
and at least I survived
STORY
Everything was quiet until a crackling noise broke the silence. A lone creature inside of its egg was trying to finally escape and catch its' first breath of fresh air. A head popped out, a beautiful icy blue colour which was in perfect contrast to the bleak colours around it. The young creature let out a pathetic desperate sound as to catch the attention of its parents. No one answered, so the creature continued. This caught the attention of a great dragon. She was black as night but her purple eyes looked piercing against the black.
She'd been alone for years, wandering the vast grounds by herself until she discovered the small spec of life. She decided to take care of him. She named him "Ghost", and he named her "Mother".
Ghost learned to survive through Mother. Though he seemed... Off. He was unable to talk all he could do was make pathetic hatchling squeeks. This greatly worried Mother, Ghost would never be able to live by himself. She'd realised that other might need her care as well. So she decided to help others who couldn't live by themselves.
The two requited sick and wounded dragons along with perfectly healthy dragons who just needed a home. This came at a great cost since they at the time didn't have a permanent place to stay. They were an obvious prey to stronger clans, and they lost many.
They decided that they wouldn't let anything like that happen again, so they went to the tallest point they could find and settled down. Naming the spot, and themselves Skyhill.

They all celebrate "Mother's Day" which is on the first day of spring. Everyone brings peace offerings to Mother to show their appreciation.
They try not to get involved in conflict and lead a rather peaceful life.
