[H]Twinkle & Shine: more dragons! (5/8)
Sappix's Clan
Pretty, witty, and gay!
Clan Info
Hey! I'm Sappix (she/her)!
I'm in my mid-twenties, I'm bisexual/sapphic, I'm a huge geek, I love reading, and I'm a writer! My favourite genres are fantasy (adult and YA), classics, and sapphic romance. My favourite novel of all-time is "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte. I also love Pokemon, Neopets, Fire Emblem, Sims, and Disney.
Preliminary lore (work in progress):
The original prophetess, Aphra, was born a lonesome fae on the Crystalspine Reaches. Soon in her young life, she realized she had visions, fragments of love and beauty. She traveled to the Oculus of the Eleven to continue the studies of her visions, where she realized that these visions were blessings from the Arcanist. Soon, her dreams began coalescing into prophecies of unity, family, growth, and knowledge. She had a calling: gather all the young dragons scattered throughout the land, acquire loyal knights and retainers, grow families, teach young devotees, and build her own clan and community guided by her Arcanist-blessed insight and his divine prophecies.
Notable dragons include Celestia, Cygnus, Goldenrod, Charis, Tethys, Perses, Dusk, and Atlas who were the first to join. Hailing from the Shifting Expanse and a colony devoted to infernos and sparks, the octet were the first to hear Aphra's cries. They share her message of found family and unity.
With the blessing of the Arcanist, she sought out on her journey to create Aphradesia. Initially nomadic, Aphra's clan of Aphradesia now permanently rests on the outskirts of the Astrodome, near the river that separates it from the Tourmaline Archives. The dragons of Aphradeisa also have bases on the one of the nearby Crystalspine Reaches to and the nearest Vale, but maintain active communication with the main colony.
As Starfall soon approached and Aphra's newfound family grew by the dozens, Aphra soon was tasked with structuring her clan. First, her core friends and advisors who will act as her administration to make sure everything runs smoothly. Next, she divided the heavens and the earth: Ourania and Pandemos. Aphra was conflicted in this separation, wondering how could the more down-to-earth and practical dragons of her clan be relevant to the Arcanist's cause. No sooner had she thought this when the Arcanist appeared before her in a vision:

"All are welcome with me. There many ways to learn than to merely study the cosmos directly. Welcome the wise and the meek, the dreamers and the thinkers, the sociable and the misfits. The universe is infinite and so is my love."

Thanks for stopping by my lair! Just read your preliminary lore and I am DEFINITELY going to be digging into your dragons to see what you've got there. :)
also tysm for the compliment on my hatchery, it's really nice to hear people like what i'm doing :') i've devoted a stupid amount of time to it over the past year
i love the naming scheme!!! i gotta snap up whatever hits the AH for 5kt, but they're lovely in and of themselves and i mayyy have stuck one of them in a different hibden tab for possible geneing... tbd (blossom is so expensive but orca would look really good as a bookend for one of my spring pairs)
Yep, that sounds about right! In all fairness, I must extend my congratulations to Light for defeating such a booming powerhouse. As that's certainly an admirable feat. ;) As for the new breed, I absolutely adore the Auraboas! I managed to pick up my free eggs from Galore, just in the nick of time. Though I'm still in the process of deciding whether I'd like to hatch them or not. If you have any eggs that you'd like to sell, now's the best time to do so. Since the prices on those are going to drop back down, as soon as the Nocturnes come out to play. ^-^
Hey, friend! I apologize for the late reply, as I haven't been as active on here lately. I hope that you've been doing well and have been having a nice holiday season. Winter is always an exciting time of year on FR. There are so many fun events and, with NOTN being just around the corner, I think that you'll really enjoy it. Speaking of events, how did the conquest push against Light, go? ^-^
Hey there, friend! Thanks so much for the well wishes. I had a nice Starfall and I hope that you did, as well! I didn't get to participate in as many of the events this time around, but I did get to spend some time trading fest currency. Which is something that I really enjoy doing. Now that we're in October, I'm really looking forward to this year's Riot of Rot! The community events are always pretty creative, which makes it a personal favorite of mine. ^-^
Nice! That's a pretty awesome score, if you ask me. I wish you the best of luck with the upcoming raffle and I hope that you have a very Happy Starfall, as well. ^-^
Thanks so much for the words of encouragement! While I didn't get to train as many dragons as I usually would, I definitely had fun participating in this month's push. Not to mention, that last minute grind is always pretty exhilarating! How did your first push go? ^-^
That's awesome! I'm so glad to hear that you've been enjoying your first push. I've been in the process of leveling dragons for Starfall, as well. I like collecting badges, so I participate pretty regularly in the Dom Raffles and Public-Buys. The badges for this week are super cute! So I'm aiming for at least 1500 points, this go-around. With a little bit of magic and teamwork, it'll be nice seeing Arcane at the top of next week's leaderboards.
I'm so glad to hear that you've been enjoying your time here! Since you mentioned that you're interested in Dom-related activities: You should totally check out Dom Watch, whenever you get the chance. They send out a weekly newsletter with all of the community-sponsored Dom events that are happening each week. It does a great job of keeping you informed of planned and future pushes, so that you're always in the loop. ^-^
Hi, there! We crossed paths on the Arcanite Forums and I just wanted to stop by and welcome you to FR. This site has brought me a lot of joy, over the years. I hope that you enjoy your time here, as much as I have. ^-^
Thank you!! Your dragons are lovely!
