Deep in the territory of the Windsinger, beyond the Aergate and consistently within the cover of clouds on the outskirts of the Twisting Crescendo is a sprawling, strange, and diverse Clan nestled in a nondescript but lively village called Galeroost.

On the outskirts of the village to the east under the most sunshine and gentle weather are the farmlands, dotted with windmills and green, swaying crops. Cabbage and corn; cotton and wheat; many, many more – this village could very well be self-sustaining. If it weren’t for their generous and inclusive spirit, they just might be, however Matriarch Nella’s wise words hold true for all who live in Galeroost; “Anyone is family here who needs it to be, whether for a day, a month or a moment.”

Most of the dragons of the Clan live within the Village Proper where, among their homes is the Clinic, the Gaolhaus Inn and Boarding House, the Gold Touch Tavern, Butterfly Tailor and many other restaurants and shops. Here you can find most anything you need, from food to lodging to a kind smile and a new friend.

A small and unassuming house to the south of the city center is home to Nella, the ancient and infinitely kind leader of not only Galeroost, but the entire Clan. In homes surrounding hers live the members of her inner court, the Gale Court, including her descendants, friends, advisors and lovers. The Gale Court does not rule so much as it welcomes. Of course they help to keep Galeroost safe for residents and travelers, but this is a minor part of their job.
