Hello Hello! Welcome to my Lair! You can call me Aster, Castiel, or Taswell, though I primarily use Taswell [or Tas!] around flight rising. The general aesthetic here is dark utopian/dystopian, with vaporwave/eyestrain flair to go with it because I really love bright colors! You're welcome to offer on any dragon, though chances of me accepting might be pretty slim if there's something in the bio/broadcast.

Welcome to Glowlight Serenity!

...But bright things attract attention, and the prospect of an oasis beckoned many towards the light. Business became available, more buildings sprung forth, the village became a town, became a city. Filled with glittering scales and pearl-like teeth, shimmering under the desert sun.

The Duneswept, a group of dragons native to the desert, soon rose to the bait, slinking forth towards the city glow, a promise of easy food, water and shelter resting heavy on their wings. Scope and his companions looked at the newcomers and shrieked, "Ugly ugly! Such dull colors and grime!"

The Duneswept turned tail with snarling and broken laughter; though the City-folk were powerful, they could not withstand the harshness of their lands with beauty and wealth alone. A storm was on the horizon.

The city nearly crumbled against the sandy winds, many hiding away within their walls, filled with fear, and it became clear that they would not last, just as the desert dragons had promised. Scope and his mate, Vox, on an act of desperation, quickly gathered as many magic adept dragons as they could, and raised a plan.

As the storm strengthened its winds, and the sun lowered beyond the horizon, the Duneswept watched the city, waiting gleefully for its fall. To their frustration, something else rose instead. A giant dome, glowing with magic and strength, to shield the city and withstand the harsh storms of the desert climate.

After this, the city became known as Glowlight Serenity, a place where people come to find their paradise, and live freely. Those sparkling with vibrancy found their welcome here, while those with dull scales, or monochrome colors were turned away. The desert seemed to empty, with the city growing more in number and outsiders simply...vanishing.

Vox raised an idea to some of their engineers, was there a way to change the color you were born with?

The experiments proved fruitful, while unwanted outcomes were neatly hidden away underground, Chroma proved to be the first true success. He became the new face of the Serenity, and both Vox and Scope moved away from the public light to rule from the shadows.

Though...something shifts beneath the sand, murmurs and plans carrying across the wind and through tunnels dug out of the earth, unbeknownst to those within the dome. They lie in wait, turning a welcoming claw to those thrown out of the life of perfection.

The city is built upon secrecy, greed and lies. How much would it take, for it to topple?

The City
Those who live within the city walls can be pompous, prideful, and self righteous, but everyone here can hook you up with a good time. The celebrations never stop, and there's always a good beat in the air!

Wasteland Roamers
The duneswept can certainly be callous, and some personalities may leave something to be desired, but they all know better than to turn a blind-eye to someone in need, whether its by ushering an exhausted dragon underground to cooler land, or showing someone the best way to keep the eyes protected against sandy winds.There is safety in numbers, and strength in unity. The air carries with it a silent song, humming in the blood of the desert. They stand strong to see the sun rise another day.
