Far beyond the horizon, hidden from the sight, an island rises from the depths. In the middle of the night an unusual blue glow reveals its sands. The Tidal Marjal of the Everwaves stands at the edge
of the Leviathan Trench as a forgotten paradise only reached by those who are lost in the sea. If you are one of those visitors, you are most welcome, the Wavereader will make sure that you can be as comfortable as possible but be aware, the peripheral territories of the island are dangerous and they say a silent horror wanders the jungles and a hidden cult is expanding from the north cove of the island lurking and waiting for their moment to act... |
________________ About me: -Love to create lore...! but lazy to write it all down -I exalt lots of dragons, but not all I buy is for exalting! -I have a bad tendency to create wacky faes to build the craziest cult ever: The Cult of the Faetful End! Muahahahaaghhh... ahem -I love to collect all kind of familiars! And I try to be a bit of a hoarder myself but as soon as I amass huge amounts of treasures and gems... I burn them all... -Also love chocolate! |
About this lair:
The island is divided into different regions and biomes:
-In the middle of the Marjal a calcareous colossal spine pierces the sky. This ancient remain of a gargantuan creature serves as the main temple of the island, dedicated to the Father of All Seas, the Tidelord, home of the Wavereader, her Warden and the regular citizens of the most centric area of the island.
-To the east a little ramshackle harbor suffers the constant impact of the waves. From there the Surge Streams, a group of fierce sailors, roams around the whitewater searching for treasures and glory.
-On the opposite direction the Sunken Shrine is hidden below the shallow waters of a forbidden beach, their priests pray to old spirits asking for favors and protection, but also for secret powers...
-A little clan of scrappers is settled near the Marjal, acting as a friendly trading post that helps with the comunication with the outside world. Their love for tinkering is only comparable to their passion for storytelling!
-Living under the protective wing of the Wavereader are a few young dragons that got lost from shipwreck
-And in the north, far away from the peacefully coasts of the Marjal one day a weird maniacal fae stablished a cult dedicated to bring the end of times upon the world or as he calls it: The Apofaelipsis... it is obvious that no one takes this nonsensical blabbering bunch of demential faes seriously but little by little they are growing in number and soon... they will be almost twenty...
