NamelessRelic's Clan

There is a fable not often told, a loosely spun yarn from ages past, of a magical remnant that once walked among us. A wisp, a frozen spectre, made its way down from the Fortress of Ends. Its cold energy slowly propelled its ethereal form onward, down, down the craggy slopes, past the frigid effigies stolen by time. Faces of ancestors long since forgotten remain stoic behind their frozen shields, forever trapped in ice. The wisp made its way through the evergreens and hid behind their sharp branches. Creatures whom also called this their home skittered out of the way, unsure what this being was. Wary tails flicked back and forth, cautious snouts sniffed the air.

The wisp came to a hollow melted away in a large floe. The hollow was large enough for the wisp to fit snugly inside. Glowing and singing to itself, the wisp swirled and turned, seeming to dance in its own otherworldly way. As the being twirled its voice began to echo, and the glow of its heart began to expand. The cool light grew larger and larger, and eventually found itself outside of the wisp's flowing form.

Splitting itself into two equal halves, the light began to darken and solidify. Scales shimmered, claws gleamed, the curve of a tail and the bend of wings slowly appeared within the mists. Four luminous orbs opened their eyes and saw each other's shape. They reached out tiny, delicate hands, and took hold of one another. Each breath they took brought them more into this plane, and they smiled in delight. Once they were able to stand on small, solid feet, they could clearly observe their surroundings and newly found world.

Carefully stepping outside of their chilly nook, they were bathed in wintry sunlight and snowflakes kissed their cheeks. It was refreshing to feel these new sensations! No words needed to be spoken to express their emotions in this new land. Their tails coiled together in satisfaction and contentment. This would be their beginning.
