Welcome to the Valley of Shadows! Pardon the mess, my clan tabs are a mess and a forever work in progress. Call me Umbra or Shadow! I’m a chill gal with a love for video games and a love for dragons! My pronouns are she/her/they/them! I work a full time job from Tues-Fri; 6AM-4PM so I apologize if you msg me and I don’t get back to you till after work!

The shadows guide this clan. Though life and in death. The highest honor a dragon could get is to serve the patron of shadow herself, The Shadowbinder. In this clan, helping others, respect, and honor are the upmost rules that Umbra expects the other dragons to follow. Even though those are her most important rules, it doesn’t stop the dragons of the clan to lie, backstab, cheat and double cross others in order to gain information about the nearby clans...

If a dragon where to fail at listening to Umbra’s rules, they would be exiled out of the clan and to never return, unless they where willing to listen to her ruling authority. A dragon being exiled is the lowest a dragon could experience, for they have their rank stripped away, and their honor is tarnished as they roam in search of another home. But, the exiled dragon could regain their rank and honor only by Umbra deeming their worth. The way that Umbra deems a dragons worth is unknown, but some dragons speculate that it’s a test of endurance and faith to their patron.

The way that Umbra and her clan came to be from a banishment from her previous clan. Following her banishment, she wandered the islands in search of a new place to call her home. This is where she eventually made her clan in The Tangled Wood, unknown to her that this was the home of the patron of shadow itself. She carefully navigated her way through the underbrush and undergrowth to find a decently clear clearing. This is where The Valley of Shadows began in its infancy...

There are 11 subsections of The Valley of Shadows. Each subsection represents a separate clan in each of the 11 known flights of Sornieth. Those are as follows; Shadows (Shadow Flight, and the main hub of The Valley of Shadows), Blinding Light (Light Flight), Four Winds (Wind Flight), Starlight (Arcane Flight), Blooming Grove (Nature Flight), Icy Tundra (Ice Flight), Eternal Flame (Fire Flight), Weathered Plains (Earth Flight), Storming Tempests (Lightning Flight), Wavecrest Falls (Water Flight). Each subsection reports to those in Shadow about their findings about the other clans in the other flights as those sub clans are spies. And information is vital to those that remain loyal to their flights patron.
