About the clan:

If you were allowed to step through a certain bamboo forest in the northwest corner of the Zephyr Steppes, you'd see a small but lively lair on an l-shaped cliffside and the beach it surrounds, leading to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. The grasslands of the cliffside are dotted with windchimes hanging off posts; bird feeders; and the odd sculpture made from an assortment of wildly different materials. The beach is a place where hatchlings play chase with their familiars and splash each other in the shallows, and a place to meditate to the sound of waves splashing against rocks. You’d observe that the cliff faces are covered in murals that look similar to the sculptures, and paintings of nature and the sky—all artwork being in soothing colours.

The sea caves burrow deep into the cliff. Beside one of the caves, you'd read a sign that says “DEN OF PLUSHIES (you're never too old)”. Inside the cave, there are indeed several hundred plushies, teddy bears and sackdolls piled high, along with a large bed of fleece where several dragons might be napping together or quietly talking. An adjoining cave contains a variety of activity supplies: art easels, a drum circle, board games. The walls of this Activity Cave are covered in hearts and smiley faces, and a large inscription saying “Your thoughts do not own you.”

On the beach, on the grass, in the caves, burrows, shacks, and trees, clan members eat, sleep, work and play. But on any given day, you could also find a pair of dragons comforting each other, dragons flapping their wings or moving their limbs to a rhythm only they can hear, or signs hanging from necks that say “Not up to talking”.

Magically drawn to this sanctuary are dragons from all over Sornieth, dragons with minds that work differently than others'. Be they anxious, struggling with reality or communication, or coping with trauma, they find there is a place for them here. A place of love and understanding. A place where they're free to become who they want to be, and know that if they never get there, they'll still be just as valued.
